My name is Annakarin Nyberg and
I am a Ph D student at the Department of Informatics at Umeå University,
Sweden. I have been working at the department since 2000, both as
a lecturer on undergraduate courses and as part of several research
projects.
I conduct my research within the
Net-Life Research Group.
More specific I have been involved in the project "IT use and
quality of life" where I have examined qestions within the
context of IT-use in people's everyday lives. The project is finished
but the interest in the questions still remain.
Earlier in my work I have conducted
my research within the Center for Digital Business. My research
interest were within digital customer relations - what are they,
how can they be built and maintained? To explore these questions
I have conducted an empirical study at Daydream
Software - a Swedish computer game developer. The developer
was of interest as they utilized various Internet technologies to
maintain their customer relationships.
