Presently I am exploring the triadic relationships between gender, digital artefacts and innovation. I am the project leader of a research project named Gender Oriented Design Studies of Innovative IT-use (GODIVA) funded by the Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems (Vinnova) and ProcessIT Innovations.

I defended my thesis Being-with Information Technology in 2006. An exploratory study of the relationship between human experience and information technology heavily influenced by Martin Heidegger's thinking on technology and contemporary philosophy of technology (Borgmann, Feenberg, Ihde, Mitcham, Winner).

The thesis is available in pdf and I am glad for any question or comment on my work and the thoughts presented in the thesis.

My research interest revolves around digital design, critical theory of technology, philosophy of technology and aesthetics of digital technology. In that respect notions of alterity, otherness and transcendence has become my passion and largely define my research approach to digitalization, digital technology and design critique.

Together with my research collegues in Life Research Group we focus on a varity of social phenomena actualized by digital artefacts increased everyday presence. Blogs, chats, virtual worlds and communities are some examples expressing the digital culture/enviroment shaping and affecting our lifeworlds and sense-making processes.
